The venue is situated adjacent to Heathrow Airport opposite Terminal 5 and offers
very good accommodation with both twin and double rooms on two floors including
some rooms with views overlooking the airport, however these rooms are
situated on the 1st floor and should be requested at the time of booking.
(Please note there is no lift)
There is also a large balcony adjoining the restaurant also with views towards
terminal 5 and despite
its position the hotel is quiet and comfortable.

I have also negotiated a discounted room rate per night
of £75.00 single and £85.00 double including breakfast
but it will be YOUR responsibility to book your own

Additional nights are available
at the same rate on request when you make your booking.
This year we will be offering a 4 course fork buffet with a choice of
hot and cold food with desserts.
There will be the usual archive corner thanks to Eric Tarrant together
with my photographic collection for you all to see and the slide show
which seems to have been enjoyed over the past couple of years.
This year there will be a special presentation which I will keep under wraps
for now but I feel sure it will be enjoyed by you all.
Tickets for the reunion are priced at £23.00 and cheques should be made
payable to ‘Mr D HEDGES’ and sent together with the completed form to:

PLEASE NOTE THAT PAYMENT ON THE DOOR WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE AS THE HOTEL REQUIRES ADVANCE NOTICE OF NUMBERS FOR THE CATERING.
Having discussed the reunion with Harold Bamberg and several others it was felt that this year, the 45th anniversary of the closure would be an appropriate year to call time on the annual reunion as time marches on, but to continue with the smaller gatherings that take place. This is unless we as a community feel otherwise.
Apologies for the later than usual notification of the reunion but I hope that it will not prevent you all from coming to this final fling. Please pass on these details to your colleagues in case I have missed them off of the list.
