|  | Rosalind Jones book "The Lanfranc Boys" was published for the 50th anniversary of the accident.
 
 The author Rosalind Jones is the sister of one of the
 Croydon schoolboys killed in the accident.
 
 After a number of years of researching, in writing her second book she has
 tried to find answers to the reasons why the accident happened.
 
 Many of the research papers held in the pulic archieves at
 Kew were origninally caged for 75 years. Due to  a change
 in the law this has now been reduced to 30 years.
 
 Following an indepth investigation some revealing facts until
 now unknown have come to light and puts a new face
 on the published accident report of 1961.
