First flew on the 9th October 1959. Leased by Cunard Eagle Airways Ltd from Bristol Aircraft Ltd on the 8th March 1961.

Sold to CCT Leasing after closure and leased to Tellair, Switzerland from
March to October 1969.

History

Entered service with Canadian Pacific Airlines as CF-CPD August 1959 on a 18 month lease returned to Bristol Aeroplane Company 1961.

Re-registered as G-ARKA and repainted in Cunard Eagle colours and delivered to them in March 1961 G-ARKA ws eventually purchased by British Eagle International Airlines in 1967

After the demise of British Eagle the aircraft was operated by several other airlines.

Was damaged by an explosion in No3 fuel tand during refuelling on the 29th August 1966 and subsequently repaired.Purchased by British Eagle International Airlines Ltd on the 1st December 1967. Sold to Airline Engineering for spares and withdrawn from use and broken up at Bagington, Coventry in October 1971.
