It was written off after it overran the runway at Nuremberg on the 20th December 1953.

It was salvaged and parts were used to rebuild the "Nene" Viking, G-AJPH
Named
"Lord Dundonald" and "Sir Edward Howard"
History
In July 1953 it was converted to become the prototype "Troopmaster" and used the serial number XF631 when on ministry contracts.
